We're excited to announce a powerful new integration for AWS Cognito users: Scalekit is now available as an OpenID Connect (OIDC) provider, enabling enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities.
Key Benefits of Scalekit + AWS Cognito Integration
- Quick Implementation: Easily enable Single Sign-On in your app by connecting AWS Cognito to Scalekit—just a few lines of code to start onboarding enterprise customers
- No-sweat IdP Integrations: Quickly connect your app with a wide range of identity providers, including Microsoft Entra ID, JumpCloud, OneLogin, and others without custom configurations
- Self-serve Admin Portal: Enable enterprise customers to independently manage their SSO connections through Scalekit's intuitive admin portal

How does Authentication work
- The user initiates the login process
- Scalekit authenticates the user using the appropriate Identity Provider
- Upon successful authentication, the user is redirected back to your application along with their user information
- Your application validates the received information and logs the user in.
Configuring the Integration
- Navigate to your AWS Cognito User Pool and select "Social and External Providers"
- Add Scalekit as an OpenID Connect provider with credentials obtained from the Scalekit Dashboard (Client ID, Secret, Issuer URL)
- Map user attributes between Scalekit and AWS Cognito for consistent profile synchronization
